Jujutsu Kaisen (Season 02)

Yuji Itadori, a high schooler with immense physical strength, becomes entangled in the world of Curses after swallowing a powerful cursed object, Ryomen Sukuna’s finger, to save sorcerer Megumi Fushiguro. Though possessed by Sukuna, Yuji retains control, prompting Satoru Gojo, the strongest modern sorcerer, to enrol him in Tokyo Jujutsu High. Yuji trains to collect all of Sukuna’s fingers, sacrificing himself once the task is complete. Meanwhile, a sinister group of Cursed Spirits, led by the ancient sorcerer Kenjaku, works to reshape the Jujutsu world, sealing Gojo and triggering chaos. Yuji faces devastating losses, including the deaths of allies like Nanami and Nobara. He learns of his own mysterious origins, connected to Sukuna and Kenjaku. In the climactic Culling Games, Yuji’s allies fall, but he regains strength through their sacrifices. With help from Yuta, disguised as Gojo, and Nobara striking Sukuna’s final finger, Yuji delivers a final blow, freeing Megumi and ending Sukuna. Though peace returns, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara continue their mission as sorcerers, haunted yet strengthened by their journey. Sukuna’s last finger remains, but his threat appears extinguished at least, for now.
