In the town of Chanderi, legend tells of Stree, a vengeful female spirit who abducts men during a four-day annual festival, leaving only their clothes behind. To protect themselves, locals write “O Stree Kal Aana” (O Stree, come tomorrow) on walls and restrict men indoors after 10 PM. Vicky, a tailor, falls for a mysterious woman who appears only during the festival and asks him to sew a Lehenga. His friend Bittu grows suspicious of her strange behaviour and unusual shopping list, suspecting she might be Stree.
When their friend Jana disappears, Vicky, Bittu, and their librarian friend Rudra investigate, uncovering Stree’s tragic past as a courtesan brutally killed by townsmen. They attempt a rescue at an abandoned fort, only to be ambushed. The mysterious woman reveals she has been fighting Stree for years, driven by personal loss. Jana, under Stree’s control, causes chaos until the group regains control and learns that Vicky, born under an oak tree to a courtesan, is destined to save Chanderi. Vicky confronts his past, embraces his destiny, and cuts Stree’s magical braid, banishing her. Yet, the mysterious woman secretly inherits Stree’s power. The next year, Stree sees a statue honouring her, now asking for protection, and peacefully retreats.
