Madame Antoine

Go Hye-rim, known to her clients as Madame Antoine, is a charismatic fortune teller who runs a cosy café in the heart of Seoul. Though she claims to communicate with the spirit of Marie Antoinette, she freely admits it's just a clever act. Her true talent lies in her keen intuition and sharp observational skills, which allow her to read people with surprising accuracy. Her peaceful world is shaken when Choi Soo-hyun, a renowned psychotherapist, moves his clinic into the floor above her café, naming it Madame Antoine without her consent. Soo-hyun, a brilliant but emotionally guarded psychologist specialising in women’s issues, is determined to prove his belief that true love doesn’t exist through a carefully designed experiment. Seeing Hye-rim as the perfect subject, he manipulates her into unknowingly becoming a key part of his study. As their opposing worldviews clash, her belief in emotions versus his scientific cynicism, an unexpected and complicated connection begins to form. Both will be challenged to confront their pasts and beliefs as the line between experiment and genuine feeling begins to blur.
