Johnny English

Clumsy yet kindhearted MI7 agent Johnny English dreams of becoming Agent One. When Agent One and the rest of MI7’s agents are killed, largely due to English’s blunders, he becomes the last man standing to take on a critical mission. Tasked with protecting the Crown Jewels, English meets the enigmatic Lorna Campbell at their unveiling. However, during a sudden blackout, the jewels are stolen, and English knocks out the head of security, then invents a suspect to cover his tracks.

Clues lead English and his loyal assistant Bough to a tunnel under the Tower of London, where they confront two German thieves. Their boss, French tycoon Pascal Sauvage, plans to crown himself King of Britain. Despite English's repeated failures, including attacking his own partner and crashing a funeral, he uncovers the conspiracy, aided by Campbell, who turns out to be an Interpol agent.

After a series of chaotic missteps, English crashes the coronation, exposing the plot and mistakenly crowning himself before restoring Queen Elizabeth to power. Honoured with a knighthood, he celebrates with Campbell, only to eject her from his car during a clumsy romantic gesture.
