Johnny English Strikes Again

Seven years after his last mission, Johnny English, now a quirky geography teacher secretly training students in spycraft, is pulled back into action when a cyber attack exposes MI7’s active agents. After accidentally disabling the other retirees, he’s left as the only viable operative. Teaming up with trusty sidekick Bough, they go analogue, using an old Aston Martin, explosive jelly babies, and a Sherbet Fountain tracker, to investigate the hack’s origin in France.

Their trail leads to tech tycoon Jason Volta, owner of the Dot Calm yacht and suspected mastermind behind the attacks. Along the way, English bumbles through mistaken identities, virtual reality chaos, and energy-pill-fueled mishaps, even switching iPhones with a driving student, thus losing crucial evidence.

Although fired, English sails to a G12 summit in Scotland with Bough and Bhuletova, a Russian agent turned ally. In a last-minute showdown, English triggers a missile strike, by accident, that destroys Volta’s server. He stops Volta with a flying tablet and a smashed smartphone, saving the internet.

Praised by the Prime Minister, English returns to school, only to panic when his headmaster nearly eats an explosive jelly baby.
