Chainsaw Man
Denji is deprived of a typical adolescent life and burdened by the overwhelming debt left by his late father. His only companion is Pochita, his pet chainsaw devil, with whom he hunts devils to earn small payments that end up with the yakuza. Denji dreams of a simple, happy life with someone special and the joy of regular meals. But that hope is shattered when he is tragically betrayed and killed by the yakuza in an act of greedy betrayal.
In a miraculous turn, Pochita merges with Denji, granting him devil powers through an ancient pact. Now able to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, Denji is seen as a potential threat. Makima, a high-ranking agent of the Public Safety Bureau, takes him in, allowing him to live under her control. Motivated by the dream of a better life, Denji follows her orders, holding onto his innocent hopes amid a dangerous and uncertain world.
