A vain and selfish prince refuses shelter to a disguised enchantress who offers a rose in exchange for kindness. Revealing her true form, she curses him into a beast and his servants into enchanted objects, erasing them from their loved ones’ memories. To break the spell, he must learn to love and be loved in return before the rose loses its final petal.
Years later, Belle, a curious and intelligent village girl, longs for adventure beyond her quiet life. When her father, Maurice, stumbles into the Beast’s castle and is imprisoned for taking a rose, Belle courageously offers to take his place. Within the enchanted walls, Belle befriends the talking household objects, including Lumière, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts. As Belle and the Beast begin to understand each other, their bond grows.
After Belle learns the truth of her past and returns home to save her father, Gaston incites the villagers to storm the castle. The Beast is mortally wounded, but Belle confesses her love just in time. The curse is broken, restoring the castle and its people. Belle and the prince begin a new life filled with love and hope.
